Romy is a filmmaker and educator who currently teaches and coordinates the Acting for screen and stage program at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario.

As an Independent filmmaker, his films (including three features - The Drive, The Tar Ponds Loonie Give-Away and Thoughts and Prayers) have won awards and been seen across the country and around the world at festivals, in cinemas and on television.

Al is an actor/writer/director best known for his comedic performances in the CBC series The Tournament and 18 to Life. He has a long career in theatre where he has worked across Canada as well as in London UK and Scotland. He has voiced many world-renowned video games at Ubisoft and Eidos. He has worked on films by Brian De Palma, Denis Arcand and Lee Daniels and was featured in the films Brooklyn and My Old Ass. He had recurring roles on The Art Of More (Apple TV) Ghostwriter (Apple TV) and Killjoys (Sci-Fi).
